[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with vitamin A in the treatment of xeroma.[Methods] The 115 patients with xeroma caused by vitamin A deficiency were randomly divided into control group A (n=38), control group B (n=37) and observation group (n=40). The control group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion, and the control group b was treated with vitamin A supplement. The observation group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion supplemented with vitamin A. The efficacy was evaluated by three courses of treatment.[Results] The total effective rate of tear healing was significantly higher in the observation group (97.50%) than that in the control group and the control group A (73.68%) and control group B (75.68%) (P<0.05), and the control group A and the control group B was not significantly different, no statistically significant (P>0.05).[Conclusion] Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with vitamin A treatment of vitamin A deficiency caused by xeroma, with significant effect, no side effects, easy operation and other advantages, and it is worth promoting the use. |
