Abstract
|
[Objective] To analyze the composing principles of the prescriptions of external application of herbs for pain in neck, shoulders, waist and legs on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Inheritance Support System(V2.5).[Methods] Efforts were made to collect 188 related prescriptions from January 1980 to May 2017. Then enter the data into the TCM inheritance support system,and analyze the data by using frequency analysis, association rules, complex system entropy clustering and unsupervised hierarchical clustering.[Results] Totally 145 prescriptions were screened out for the analysis, including 188 herbs. And the total frequency was 1582. The most frequently used one was Flos Carthami. Among the prescriptions, there were 14 combinations of two herbs with frequency of more than 30, and there were 56 and 8 combinations of three and four herbs with the frequency of more than 15 times. Through the association rules among herbs, 16 core combinations and two new prescriptions were evolved.[Conclusion] Clinically, external herbs for pain in neck, shoulders, waist and legs were mainly the herbs for expelling wind-damp, and cooperated with the herbs for invigorating the circulation of blood, tonifying deficiency, clearing heat, relieving exterior syndrome, regulating qi, warming interior and so on. These herbs could drive rheumatism and invigorate the circulation. |
