Abstract
|
Professor WU Weiping reduced the phenotype of chronic pulmonary heart disease to three stages and ten syndromes. It can be divided to 4 types according to the concomitant symptoms, respectively were palpitation, phlegm, edema and cyanosis. Morbid fluid retention due to deficiency of yang is the basic traditional Chinese medicine constitution of the patients of chronic pulmonary heart disease. Professor WU Weiping used the prescription of Sangsu Guiling Yin as the basic prescription to treat the syndrome characterized by dyspnea and edema. The prescription of ephedra could be jointly used when it was caused by exogenous factors. It should regulate the balance of yin, yang and qi activity when it was caused by internal factors. The prescription of Wuling San could be used in a stable condition, while Fupian was needed in the stage of decline of vital gate fire. Professor WU Weiping attached importance to the balance of yin and yang and paid much attention to the qi activity regulation during the use of the prescription of Sangsu Guiling Yin which brought about a striking effect. |
