Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the curative effect on the therapy of Yishen Tiaogan Jieyu on Parkinson's disease with depression (PDD) with yin deficiency of liver and kidney.[Methods] A total of 60 cases of PDD patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was given the combination of Bushen Zhichan decoction and Xiaoyao powder and the basic treatment of Western medicine, while the control group was given the placebo and the basic treatment of western medicine, and the treatment course lasted for 8 months. The scores of 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD-17), the unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS),Ⅰ,Ⅱ, Ⅲ,Ⅳ 4 parts and its total score and the 39-item Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire (PDQ-39) were evaluated respectively before treatment and after treatment.[Results] After treatment,the scores of HAMD-17, PDQ-39, each part of UPDRS and its total in the treatment group lower than those before(P<0.05), and the score of each scale in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The therapy of Yishen Tiaogan Jieyu could effectively improve the motor symptoms and depressive symptoms in patients with PDD with yin deficiency of liver and kidney, and further improve the quality of life of patients, it is worthy of popularization and application. |
