| Abstract
|
| [Objective] Injection with Xueshuantong (freeze-dried) (XST) from the main root of Panax notoginseng made of raw materials, this paper was studied the effect of the pathological changes of diabetic retinopathy in Goto-Kakizaki (GK) rats, for the treatment of diabetic retinal complications to provide experimental basis.[Methods] GK type 2 diabetic rats were randomly divided into model group, 100 mg/kg XST group, 50 mg/kg XST group, intraperitoneal injection of XST per day, barrier treatment for 60 days. There was another Wistar control group. The control group and the model group were given the same amount of saline.[Results] The body weight and blood glucose of diabetic rats were not affected by thrombus, which could effectively inhibit the contraction of diabetic retina and improve the cell structure of each layer.[Conclusion] XST can improve the retinal pathological structure of GK type 2 diabetic rats. |
