Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the quality of flowers of Aurea helianthus, ultra performance liquid chromatography(UPLC) method was established and validiated for simultaneous determining 5 flavonoids including rutin, hyperoside, isoquercitrin, myricetin and quercetin in Abelmoschusmanihot flowers.[Methods] The separation of 5 flavonoids was carried out on an ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 (1.7 μm, 2.1×100 mm) with gradient elutionusing acetonitrile and water containing 0.1% formic acid. The flow rate was 0.3 mL/min. The temperature was maintained at 35℃. The wavelength was recorded at 360 nm.[Results] All five flavonoids within their tested ranges showed good linear relationship with correlation coefficients which are greater than 0.999 0. The results showed good precisions, repeat abilities and stablities and the average recoveries were between 95% and 105%. The contents of five flavonoids existed striking differences among different harvest times and producing areas.[Conclusion] This fast, accurate and reliable method was could be used as tool for quantitative analysis of 5 flavonoids and evaluation of quality of flowers of Aurea helianthus. |
