Abstract

Chalazion is one of children's ophthalmic diseases. Professor LI Jiangquan believes that the dysfunction of the spleen and stomach, phlegm stagnation, retention of heat in the spleen and stomach are the major factors in the pathogenesis of the disease. In terms of treatment, it is necessary to take both the samples into consideration-the acute stage is treated with clearing away heat and toxic materials, blood circulation phlegm and the chronic recovery stage is mainly to invigorate the spleen and stomach, and to regulate the function of Zang Fu organs. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the experience of Professor LI Jiangquan in treating chalazion via a case and discuss the etiology and pathogenesis, differentiation and treatment and preventive nursing, and so on, and hoping to provide reference data for clinical treatment of chalazion in children. |
