Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the complete mitochondrial genome of Scolopendra subspinipes dehaani.[Methods] Mitochondrial DNA of Scolopendra subspinipes dehaani was purified by differential centrifugation and rolling circle amplification. The Illumina Hiseq X Ten technique was chosen to sequence the purified mitochondrial DNA, and then the strategy of de novo assembly and mapping versu mtgenome of closely related species by MIRA 4.0 was adopted to get the complete mitochondrial sequence. This genome was annotated by Online Server MITOS and mtgenome of closely related species.[Results] The 14 538 bp complete mitochondrial genome of Scolopendra subspinipes dehaani with high coverage contains 20 transfer RNA,13 protein coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes (16S rRNA, RS rRNA).[Conclusion] The mtgenome of Scolopendra subspinipes dehaani was obtained, and could be further applied in the resources survey and protection of medical centipede.
