Abstract
Most scholars treat the tremor syndrome from different aspects, including wind syndrome, fire syndrome, phlegm syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome. Professor ZHOU De'an considers that many tremor syndromes are associated with the deficiency of yang. Supplying yang to promote water metabolism with Chinese medicine and acupuncture can effectively treat the tremor syndrome. He prefers to use Zhenwu decoction and acupuncture to treat tremor syndrome. Acupuncture recipe focuses on treatment of spirit (Sishen prescription, Du thirteen acupoints, back Shu points), spleen and kidney acupoints, and other acupoints. All these acupoints can supply yang to promote water metabolism, extinguish the wind and stop spasmodic. The clinical effects were remarkable.
