Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical efficiency of Naoxueshuan tablets in treating convalescent stroke of blood stagnation obstruction syndrome. [Methods] Patients were divided into experiment group and control group with a multicentre, randomized, and controlled method, 72 cases in each group. Patients in both groups all received basic treatment, and Aspirin Enteric-coated tablets 100 mg once a day was applied to control group, while Naoxueshuan tablets 1.2 g three times a day with Aspirin Enteric-coated tablets 100 mg once a day was applied to experiment group, with a treating period of 12 weeks. NIHSS, modified Rankin, Barthel index, SS-QOL, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom score were applied to evaluate the efficiency at 6, 12 and 24 week. [Results] All the scores were improved in both groups after treating (P<0.05). The treatment group efficiency was 90.00%, and control group efficiency was 73.44%, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). NIHSS, Barthel index and TCM symptom scores were better in experiment group than that in control group at week 12 (P<0.05). NIHSS, Barthel index, SS-QOL, and TCM symptom scores were better in experiment group than that in control group at followed up to 24 week(P<0.05). Modified Rankin showed the same improvement in both groups (P>0.05). [Conclusions] Naoxueshuan tablets could significantly improve the symptoms and neural function, raise life quality of convalescent stroke of blood stagnation obstruction syndrome, with a definite curative efficiency, which should be spread and applied widely. |
