Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine on pleural effusion with closed thoracic drainage.[Methods] The 60 patients with pleural effusions who were treated from January 2017 to June 2017 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with routine treatment. The treatment group was given integrated treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine on the basis of the control group.[Results] There was no significant difference in gender, age, pathogenesis, and tumor markers between the two groups (P>0.05). After 14 days of treatment, the total effective rates in the control and observation groups were 56.7% and 83.3%, respectively. With respect to tumor markers, the treatment group showed a more pronounced reduction than the control group. Compared with the control group, the quality of life of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. The satisfaction of the effect was 25 cases in the control group and 28 cases in the treatment group.[Conclusion] Integrated Chinese and Western medicine can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with malignant pleural effusion treated with closed thoracic drainage. |
