Abstract

Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is a type of ANCA-associated vasculitis. It is rare in clinical practice and belongs to a difficult and complicated disease. It is rarely discussed in Chinese literature of traditional Chinese medicine. In the guidance of Professor LIU Wei, this article places emphasis on regulating qi and blood of zang-fu organs. Method of Pinggan Xuanfei (calming the liver and promoting the dispersing function of the lung) is applied on this outpatient with granulomatosis with polyangiitis, which achieved satisfactory clinical results. By treating this patient, it was also accumulate a valuable experience on treating this disease by the method of traditional Chinese medicine. |
