|
[Objective] To observe the rehabilitation nursing clinical efficacy of concentric winding fingers for shoulder-hand syndrome post hemiplegia.[Methods] A total of 82 cases of shoulder-hand syndrome post hemiplegia were included and received nursing of concentric winding fingers, 2 times a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. The swelling, motor function and pain of hands were detected every week.[Results] After 2 days of treatment, the hand skin of 76 (92.7%) patients appeared folds, and the patients consciously felt that swelling sensation significantly reduced. Interphalangeal joint range of motion increased, and pain during activity alleviated. After one week of intervention the cylinder measuring showed that hand edema of 73 (89.0%) patients which had reduced 40% than that before treatment; after two weeks of intervention the cylinder measuring showed that hand edema of 68(82.9%) patients which had reduced 80% than that before treatment, and range of motion got close to normal with no pain during joint activities. After two weeks of intervention, patients got higher FMA score than before treatment, while VAS score and the degree of swelling was lower than that before treatment, with statistical significance in comparison between before and after treatment (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Concentric winding finger was an effective method of rehabilitation care for shoulder-hand syndrome, especially swelling hand. |
