| Abstract

| Prescription and therapy are important parts of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation and treatment. Understanding the relationship between them is of great significance for improving the theory of TCM prescriptions and promoting the modern development of prescriptions. The article analyzes the connotation of the relationship between prescription and therapy, such as the "guiding prescription with the therapy", "verifying the therapy by prescription" and "dialectical unity of prescription and treatment", and discusses the relationship between prescription and therapy, and reveals the significance of the theoretical research of principle-method-recipe-medicines on TCM, clinical research of prescription and the development of new prescriptions. It will provide ideas for the research of the relationship between prescription and therapy and the modernization of TCM. |
