A case of amenorrhea caused by anorexia nervosa treated with Buzhong Yiqi decoction

Abstract
    This article introduced the treatment of a patient with anorexia caused by anorexia nervosa, using the method of combining traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine to regulate the function of the spleen and stomach. Buzhong Yiqi decoction were used to reinforce the foundation of acquired constitution and promoting the function of spleen and stomach. Zuogui pills and Buzhong Yiqi decoction were used to reinforce kidney and spleen when spleen and stomach were strong and food essence was full. To regulate menstrual cycle, promote the growth of the uterus and increase the secondary sex character with the sequential therapy of estrogen and progestin.
