Abstract
|
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of serious complications of diabetes. The main pathological changes were glomerular sclerosis. The proportion of diabetic patients with a course of 10 years or more of DN was about 50%. It seriously threatens the life safety of diabetic patients, and early diagnosis and effective prevention and treatment methods have important clinical significance. Western medicine believes that the occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy is the result of the combined action of multiple factors. At present, a series of studies on the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy have made some progress. At the same time, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment has obvious advantages in improving the clinical symptoms of diabetic nephropathy patients and delaying the deterioration of their renal function. In this paper, literature review and correlative analysis were conducted on the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus and the research progress of modern medical treatment. In the aspect of TCM, the progress of TCM treatment of diabetic nephropathy was summarized from the aspects of etiology, pathogenesis, clinical treatment and experimental research, so as to provide the basis for clinical treatment. |
