Abstract
|
In this case,the first epileptic seizure occurred after menarche and then occurred mostly before ovulation in the form of generalized tonic-clonic seizure. It belongs to C2 type of catamenial epilepsy. Combined with the onset characteristics,symptoms and signs of patients,syndrome differentiation is deficiency of obstruction of wind-phlegm syndrome with kidney essence,the method of tonifying kidney essence and eliminating phlegm for resuscitation was used. The patient's previous administration of lamotrigine and sodium valproate was not effective and the epileptic seizures were controlled after the traditional Chinese medicine treatment was added. |
