Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe and explore the effect of abdominal massage therapy on cerebral neurotransmitter and Orexin-A in sleep deprivation rats.[Methods] The 30 Wistar rats with 10 in each group were randomly divided into normal control group, model control group, and abdominal massage therapy group. Adopting a modified multi-platform water environment method for sleep deprivation in the latter two groups of rats,Rats in the normal control group and model control group did not interfere after modeling. The rats in the abdominal massage therapy group were given a daily abdominal massage therapy. After 14 days, compare the levels of 5-HT,DA,NE,GABA,and Orexin-A in the brains of rats in each group.[Results] Compared with normal control group, the levels of 5-HT,DA,NE,GABA,and Orexin-A in the brain of the model control group were significantly changed (P<0.05). Compared with the model control group, the level of 5-HT in the brain of the rats in the abdominal massage therapy group was significantly increased, and the levels of DA,NE,and Orexin-A significantly decreased (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in GABA levels (P>0.05).[Conclusion] Abdominal massage therapy can regulate the levels of 5-HT,DA,NE,and Orexin-A in the brain of rats and play a role in regulating sleep and wakefulness in animals. |
