Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the effect of Chinese Morita therapy combined with Qianliean Shuan suppository in patients with ⅢA prostatitis.[Methods] The 121 patients with standard ⅢA prostatitis were randomly divided into 60 cases of Chinese type Morita therapy group (group A) and 61 cases (group B) of Qianliean Shuan suppository group (group B). They were given the Chinese Morita therapy combined with the Qianliean Shuan suppository and the simple Qianliean Shuan suppository for 8 weeks respectively. Before and after the treatment, the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Score (NIH-CPSI) were evaluated.[Results] The cure rate and total effective rate of the group A were 28.33% and 86.67%,while that were 27.87% and 68.85% of the group B. The cure rate between the groups was not significant (P>0.05),while the total effective rate between the groups was significant (P<0.05).The total score and the scores of pain/discomfort,urination,quality of life in group A and group B by NIH-CPSI were significantly decreased (P<0.01). The total score and the scores of pain/discomfort,quality of life by NIH-CPSI were significantly decreased in group A than that in group B (P< 0.05),while the score of urination after treatment in two groups were not significantly different (P>0.05).[Conclusion] Chinese Morita therapy combined with Qianliean Shuan suppository can reduce pain/discomfort and improve the quality of life and total effective rate in patients with ⅢA prostatitis. |
