Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the antitussive,anti-inflammatory effects and promotion on excretion of ultrafine particles in PM2.5 of Feibining Granules.[Methods] A mouse model of cough caused by sulphur dioxide,a mouse model of endotoxin-induced lung injury, and a zebrafish model of the ultrafine particles in PM2.5 excretion were given. After intervention with different concentrations of Feibining Granules, the antitussive and anti-inflammatory effects and the promotion of ultrafine particles in PM2.5 excretion were observed.[Results] The medium and high dose groups of Feibining Granules could significantly improve the cough latency and cough frequency of sulphur dioxide cough model mice. Both of the groups could reduce lung perfusion of mice with endotoxin-induced lung injury and the concentration of IL-6 in the liquid (P<0.05).In the zebrafish model, the incidence of nano-activated carbon secretion was 63.3% when the concentration was 125 mg/mL,compared with the model control group (16.7%). There was a statistically significant difference (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Feibining Granules have antitussive and anti-inflammatory effects, and also have certain effects in promoting the excretion of ultrafine particles in PM2.5 and reducing the damage of PM2.5. It suggests that it acts a certain role in the treatment of respiratory diseases caused by smog weather.
