| Shengjiang Powder first appeared in the "inner mansion immortal prescription" in a book named Ten Thousand Diseases Come Back to Spring Volume Two Plague writted by GONG Tingxian of the Ming dynasty. Later,it was changed the dose and recorded in CHEN liangzuo's book called Two Analyses of Justice in the Qing Dynasty. YANG Xuan changed its name to Shengjiang Powder,which was recorded in articles on Typhoid Fever and Epidemic Diseases. The composition was:white stiff silkworm 2 qian,cicada 1 qian,turmeric 3 fen and rhubarb 4 qian. All kinds of drugs are combined,the whole party plays the role of "qing sheng turbid fall" together,and gives the turbid poison a way out. Later generations of doctors have played a very wide role in the application of this method. According to the theory of "treating different diseases with the same treatment",modern doctors apply this prescription to treat asthma,edema,diarrhea,diabetes mellitus,chronic renal failure and other pathogenesis of "abnormal clearing and turbidity lifting",all of which have achieved significant efficacy. |
