Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis can occur at any age, morecommon in women. Early clinical manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis is joint synovitis. Chronic inflammation of the synovial membrane infiltrates a large number of inflammatory cells which invade cartilage and bone tissue, formpannus, destroy the articular cartilage, and lead to the damage of joint structure and function. The function of needle-scalpel for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is mainly manifested in lossening the adhesive connection tissue, releasing the local high pressure, reestablishing the mechanical balance of the joints, etc. The curative effect mechanism includes improving morphological lesions, improving local blood circulation, inhibiting free radicals and regulating cytokines. The needle-scalpel therapy has exact effect on joint pain and functional recovery in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, thus is worthy of clinical application.
