Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the difference of saponin content in different parts of Panax quinquefolium L. [Methods] Methanol was used to extract 9 parts of Panax quinquefolium L. by reflux extraction. The contents of seven kinds of monomeric saponins Rg1、Re、Rb1、Rc、Rb2、Rb3 and Rd in different parts of Panax quinquefolium L. were determined by HPLC. The principal component analysis and cluster analysis were carried out. [Results] The contents of 7 saponins in flower bud, fibrous roots and Rhizoma were higher. Principal component analysis and cluster analysis were used to divide 9 parts into two categories. Flower buds and leaves were clustered into one category, and other parts were clustered into one category. [Conclusion] The contents of total saponins and monomeric saponins in different parts of American ginseng were different. The content of saponins were determined by HPLC. Combined with principal components and cluster analysis, the distribution and content of saponins in various parts can be comprehensively evaluated. |
