| Abstract

| Ulcerative colitis is a chronic nonspecific inflammatory bowel disease. The name of traditiona Chinese medicine disease is "Chronic dysentery". Professor SHEN Hong suggests that the lesion is located in the large intestine which belongs to Yangming disease,but it's closely related to six meridians. Onset of diseases,pathogenic factors and vital qi are all vigorous,evil spirit committing three yang meridians. On the late stage of diseases,vital energy deficiency with evil-lingering,evil spirit committing three yin meridians. Professor SHEN Hong established treatments according to meridian tropism,such as declaring helms,clearing intestines reconciling shaoyang,warm yang and dissipating dampness,strengthen the essence,regulating cold and heat. It obtained good clinical curative effects. |
