| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To investigate the effect of modified Sanju Decoction on improving cancer related fatigue and immune function in patients with postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cervical cancer.[Methods] A total of 82 patients who underwent cervical cancer surgery at the 534 Hospital of Luoyang People's Liberation Army were selected as subjects. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group by 41 cases according to the digital table method. The control group was given a concurrent radiotherapy + TP chemotherapy regimen[paclitaxel (TAX) + cisplatin (DDP)]. The observation group was given the treatment of Sanju Decoction on the basis of the control group,1 dose per day,2 times a day,continuously for 12 weeks. Compared two groups of patients with cancer related fatigue score,toxicity,levels of T lymphocyte subsets and serum immunoglobulin (IgA,IgG,IgM) levels.[Results] After 12 weeks of treatment,the scores of cancer induced fatigue (emotion,sensation,behavior,cognition) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01). The incidence of gastrointestinal reaction and bladder stimulation in the observation group was significantly less than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 12 weeks of treatment,the levels of CD3+,CD3+CD4+,IgA,IgG and IgM in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and CD3+CD8+ was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.01).[Conclusion] Sanju Decoction can improve cancer related fatigue,enhance immune function and reduce toxic and side effects in patients with postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cervical cancer. |
