Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the expression and clinical prognosis of regulatory T cells in anemia of children.[Methods] Eighty children with anemia treated by Tianjin Children's Hospital from March 2016 to March 2017 were selected as the study group. They were divided into mild, moderate and severe groups according to the severity of anemia. All children were given iron, vitamins and dietary intensive treatment. According to the prognosis of treatment, the patients were divided into good prognosis group and poor prognosis group. The 56 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The levels of CD4+,CD4+CD125+,CD4+CD125+CD127low in regulatory T cells were detected by flow cytometry. Correlation analysis between regulatory T cells and prognosis was performed by SPSS Pearson correlation analysis software.[Results] The percentage of CD4+,CD4+CD125+,CD4+CD125+CD127low in regulatory T cells in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). In the observation group, the percentage of CD4+,CD4+CD125+,CD4+CD125+CD127low in the group with good prognosis was higher than that in the group with poor prognosis (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Regulatory T cells are low expressed in anemia of children and negatively correlated with the clinical prognosis of children. Strengthening regulatory T cell assay can evaluate prognosis and guide clinical treatment.
