Abstract
|
Pre-diabetes (spleen pyretic abundance) is an important part of type 2 diabetes,including impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance. The pre-diabetes prevalence rate is growing rapidly,if no intervention measures are taken,15% of the population develops into diabetes within 4-7 years. Chinese and Western medicines have become more and more important in the treatment of pre-diabetes. Western medicine treatment includes metformin,α-glucosidase inhibitor,thiazolidinedione,dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-4) inhibitor,glucagon like pep Tide-1,GLP-1) receptor agonists and so on. Traditional Chinese medicine treats and treats from the perspectives of viscera theory,qi and blood fluid,yin and yang deficiency. This article mainly reviews the progress of pre-diabetes related Chinese and Western medicine research from the above aspects. |
