Abstract
|
Traditional Chinese medicine treats alopecia seborrheica according to the syndrome types of blood-heat and wind-dryness, blood-deficiency and wind-dryness, dampness-heat and liver-kidney deficiency. Some certain clinical effects can be obtained. Although it can temporarily relieve the disease, it is easy to relapse and fails to recognize the root cause of the disease. According to Chinese medicine master Professor WANG Qi's theory of "skin and diseases" and "controllable body constituent", Professor NI Cheng thinks that dampness-heat constitution is the main cause for alopecia seborrheica and stasis-turbidity causing decayed hair is the main pathogenesis. The treatment is characterized by clearing away dampness and dampness-heat, cooling blood and removing stasis to regulate the dampness-heat constitution. Besides, it is also supplemented by tonifying the blood of yin in order to promote it. Professor NI formulates Yinchenhao Decoction and Shengjiang Powder to treat the disease. The treatment of seborrheic alopecia is discussed from the aspects of specimen balance, stage treatment and internal and external washing, which has showed favorable efficacy. |
