Abstract

Through participating in the treatment of confirmed cases in Guangzhou,the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital has gradually formed an in-hospital traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) diagnosis and treatment program based on the combination of syndrome differentiation of wei qi ying blood and syndrome differentiation of viscera in the treatment of patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia in Guangzhou. This article introduces a case of novel coronavirus pneumonia in this hospital. The patient's TCM pathogenesis and syndromes evolution showed a typical hierarchy,which basically developed according to rule of disease progress of syndrome differentiation of wei qi ying blood and syndrome differentiation of viscera in the classic warm disease. After the treatment with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,the patient's body temperature returned to normal on the fourth day,and the test result of the novel coronavirus nucleic acid of Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention was negative on the seventh day. It achieved good therapeutic effect. |
