Abstract
|
The location of hypertension is in the brain, but the disease is also related to the function of heart, liver, spleen, stomach, lung, kidney, eyes, ears and other viscera and organs. Its pathogenesis includes blood turbidity clouding brain orifice,marrow-sea losing nutrient and meridian and collateral obstruction. For the treatment, the root causes of the disease should be treated with methods of strengthening the spleen to invigorate qi and regulating blood circulation to remove turbidity, while the symptoms of the disease should be treated with methods of tranquilizing mind and stopping dizziness, freeing the collateral vessels and relieving pain, following the principle of adjacent points selection combined with distant points selection. In detail, the treatment takes three steps, including immediate depressurization, consolidation of curative efficacy and self-massage,with acupuncture, pricking bloodletting, cupping and massage as the methods. This therapeutic schedule has certain advantages in immediate depressurization, relief of dizziness, headache, brain swelling and other symptoms and long-term curative efficacy. It also can improve the life quality of the patients. |
