Medium and long term follow-up study on conservative treatment of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis |

Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the patients with degenerative spondylolisthesis conservative treatment of low back pain in the medium and long term situation.[Methods] A retrospective study was conducted on Beijing patients who participated in the special project of "Degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis treatment and rehabilitation integration" in Wangjing Hospital from 2012 to 2014. This retrospective analysis included 79 patients whose JOA score VAS score and lumbar pain and function was assessed after treatment and follow-up. Follow-up 5-7 years,the medium and long term low back pain cases are discussed.[Results] The follow-up in 57% of patients had a recurrence and took follow-up treatment,only four (5%) chosen to surgery. There was no statistical significance on follow-up VAS,JOA score (P>0.05). The majority of patients had more regular exercise habits.[Conclusions] For degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis,conservative treatment is effective and the follow-up state is stable. The habit of regular exercise is good for the physical condition of elderly patients. |
