Abstract
Professor LYU Renhe emphasizes that clinical practice should be combined with classic literature studying, and advocated "originating from Huang di's Canon on Medicine and based on clinical practice" in the treatment of diabetes and its complications. Diabetic kidney disease is complicated in pathogenesis and changeable in disease condition. Professor LYU Renhe pays attention to the differentiation between common symptoms and variant symptoms in clinical treatment of diabetic kidney disease, and advocates that when the disease condition is stable, the disease condition should be grasped as a whole, and the treatment should combine the symptoms with the actual situation. However, when the disease condition changes, attention should be paid to the variant symptoms. Treatment should focus on treating the severe symptoms. This clinical experience of flexibly determining the treatment principles and methods according to the priorities of the specimens is quite in line with the meaning of "treating main and compicated symptoms when disease being mild while teating main symptoms when dsease being acute" in Huangdi's Canon on Medicine. This article tries to expound professor LYU Renhe's experience in treating diabetic kidney disease,so as to provide support for his colleagues.
