Abstract
|
[Objective] To analyze the effectiveness of whole body layered acupotomy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH).[Methods] The 60 patients with LDH were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group was treated by whole body layered acupotomy and acupuncture, and the control group was treated by acupuncture. The changes of VAS and JOA scores were analyzed before and after treatment. The improved MacNab criteria were used for evaluation.[Results] After treatment, the VAS and JOA scores of the two groups were significantly better than those before treatment (P<0.05),and the observation group was better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The excellent rate of the observation group (93.3%) was better than that of the control group (73.3%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).[Conclusions] The whole body layered acupotomy is effective in the treatment of LDH,and the combination treatment of acupotomy and acupuncture is superior than simple acupuncture treatment. |
