Abstract

Amomum tsaoko is a traditional Chinese medicine and food homologous plant,which is often used as spice,but its medicinal value is not paid much attention. Amomum tsaoko has important value in preventing and treating epidemic diseases besides clinical application. By consulting ancient herbal medicine and modern literature,this paper explores the ancient and modern application law of Amomum tsaoko. This paper mainly expounds the evolution and development of medical doctors' understanding of Amomum tsaoko in the order of dynasties,and combines with modern literature to explore deeply,focusing on the research results of Amomum tsaoko's efficacy,flavor and meridian tropism,attention to use and modern pharmacology. The effects of Amomum tsaoko are summarized in four aspects,malaria treatment,epidemic treatment,spleen treatment and stomach damp stagnation. The common clinical medicines and modern clinical applications are summarized,and the effect of Amomum tsaoko on preventing and controlling diseases is recognized from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,prescriptions and modern application. |
