Abstract
[Objective] To observe the curative effect of moxibustion on cancer-related fatigue of colorectal cancer and the influence of absolute lymphocyte count.[Methods] Patients with cancer-related fatigue of colorectal cancer with qi deficiency syndrome were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional therapy, while the treatment group was treated with conventional therapy combined with moxibustion. The changes of Piper scale,KPS score, percentage of lymphocyte subsets and absolute count of the two groups were observed before and after treatment.[Results] Before and after treatment, the Piper scale in the control group showed significant decrease in behavioral dimension and percentage of CD8+ cells in lymphocyte subgroup, but no significant change in other items. KPS score in the treatment group increased significantly before and after treatment, the behavioral dimension, emotional dimension, sensory dimension and total score of piper scale decreased significantly, the percentage of CD4+ cells and absolute count of lymphocyte subsets increased significantly, and the remaining items showed no significant changes.[Conclusion] Moxibustion can obviously relieve the fatigue and improve the quality of life of colorectal cancer patients with qi deficiency syndrome, and its mechanism may be realized by improving lymphocytes and immune function. This simple and effective method provides a good idea for clinical treatment of this kind of disease.
