Abstract
|
Chaihu Shugan Powder is a variant of Sini Powder in Treatise on Febrile Diseases. It comes from the prescription of Medical General Purpose cited in the Criteria of Syndrome and Treatment. The whole prescription is composed of Bupleurum chinense,Citrus peel,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Fructus Aurantii,Paeonia lactiflora,Rhizoma Cyperi and Glycyrrhizae. It has the efficacy of soothing the liver,regulating qi,promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. Its prescription was originally used to treat “those who have not solved external pathogenic factors and have adverse qi and hypochondriac pain”. Clinically,it is mostly used to treat liver and gallbladder,spleen and stomach,depression and other diseases. The author used Chaihu Shugan Powder to treat incisional hernia,skin melanosis,thyroid nodules,follicular conjunctivitis and other miscellaneous diseases,and also achieved satisfactory results. |
