Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the effect of Shenjin Yigu method on soft tissue tension and cartilage morphology around knee joint,and to explore its therapeutic effect on knee osteoarthritis (KOA).[Methods] Fifty healthy female New Zealand big-ear white rabbits aged 6~8 months were selected and randomly divided into 5 groups. The model group,massage group and sodium hyaluronate group used Hulth modeling method to simulate KOA,while the normal group and sham operation group did not intervene. After the model was established successfully,the massage group was treated with the method of Shenjin Yisu for 3 weeks,and the sodium hyaluronate group was injected into local joints once a week for 3 weeks,while the model group was not given any treatment. After treatment,the tension of rectus femoris and biceps femoris was tested,and cartilage tissue was stained with HE and then observed under light microscope,and Markin score was made. Analyze the similarities and differences between massage group and other four groups.[Results] The FDD and S values of rectus femoris muscle in the model group were significatly lower than normal group,and those of biceps femoris were significant higher. The FDD and S values in the massage group and sodium hyaluronate group of rectus femoris were significantly higher than the model group (P<0.05),while those of biceps femoris were significantly lower than those of the model group (P<0.05). Comparison with model group,the Mankin's score had statistical significance in massage group and sodium hyaluronate group.[Conclusion] The Shenjin Yigu method can significantly increase the muscle strength,regulate tissue tension and improve the function of joint movement,which is of great significance to protect the function of soft tissue around the knee joint. |
