Abstract
    In the eight-word principle of health preservation by dredging collaterals,keeping movement means that movement is the basis of health preservation. Through active movement,we can exercise muscles and bones,regulate breath,promote flow of qi and blood,and coordinate the viscera. Keeping movement can be utilized to achieve exchange between internal qi and external qi as well as substance exchange and energy metabolism of shape-qi conversion. Attention should be paid to local shaping exercise that can adjust external shape. Internal shape is adjusted to increase brown fat utilization. Unobstructed qi and blood circulation can be realized through daoyin,anqiao,promoting qi,traditional practice and Chinese collaterals dredging exercises. Keep physically active,don't get too tired. Be persistent and moderate,formulate individualized exercise scheme. Also physical work should be combined with brain work organically. Scientific and reasonable movement can promote metabolism of the body,and increase vitality. Finally,ability of the human body to prevent and resist disease can be enhanced and the progress of aging can be slowed down through keeping movement.
