| Abstract

| Chronic bronchitis is a chronic non-specific inflammation of the trachea,bronchial mucosa and surrounding tissues caused by various internal and external factors,which has a high incidence and is easy to be delayed and repeated,and is called "cough" in traditional Chinese medicine. Professor WANG Chengxiang believes that this disease is mostly caused by both the interior and exterior,with the combination of excess and deficiency. He pays attention to distinguishing stages,cold and heat,cough sounds and sputum properties. He uses the method of purging in reality and supplementing in deficiency in treatment. In acute attack period and chronic prolonged period,he mainly eliminates pathogenic factors and benefits the lung,while in remission period,he uses the method of tonifying the lung and kidney. In the treatment principle,we should distinguish healthy qi and pathogenic factors,the biao and ben,and the drinking should be warmed,the qi machine should be adjusted,the insect medicine should be used well,and the lungs and kidneys should be emphasized,so as to eliminate evil and body safety,which embodies the thought of combining syndrome differentiation and demonstration with disease and syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine. |
