| Gout is a common rheumatic disease with inflamed joints and severe pain,which is closely related to purine metabolism disorder. In recent years,due to the changes in people's living pace and eating habits,the incidence of gout is increasing year by year,and the incidence population is also getting younger. Gout is prone to repeated attacks in clinical practice,which may lead to gout kidney damage and other complications,and seriously affect the quality of life of patients. At present,western medicine treats gout by stages,colchicine,non-teroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and glucocorticoids were used for symptomatic treatment during the acute phase. The remission phase was dominated by drug control of serum uric acid. Professor ZHU Yuelan is clinically good at treating gouty arthritis,and has accumulated rich experience in repeated clinical practice. She puts forward the theory of "damp stasis" for gout,and considered "dampness and heat and blood stasis" as its core pathogenesis. She mainly uses clearing heat,promoting dampness,promoting blood circulation and relieving pain as the main treatment methods,and uses internal and external treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine to obtain better clinical effect in the treatment of gout. |
