Abstract
Hepatitis B virus associated glomerulonephritis is a disease caused by the deposition of immune complexes in the kidneys after infection with hepatitis B virus. It is one of the common secondary glomerular diseases in China. It is more common in children and has a better prognosis. Partial development to advanced stages can cause renal interstitial fibrosis. At present, there is no reliable animal model and it is highly contagious, which leads to some difficulties in the research of hepatitis B virus associated glomerulonephritis. Molecular biology mainly focuses on cell transfection, and research suggests that hepatitis B virus X protein (HBx) is related to apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells. Current research bottlenecks are the lack of experimental research, the lack of a unified clinical treatment plan, and the lack of large-scale,multi-center research. The most effective way to prevent hepatitis B virus infection is to inoculate hepatitis B vaccine. At present, the treatment of hepatitis B virus associated glomerulonephritis with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine has achieved certain clinical effects. Traditional Chinese medicine has achieved certain clinical effects in treating hepatitis B virus associated glomerulonephritis and preventing and treating renal fibrosis from the aspects of syndrome differentiation, treatment by stages, and special prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine. This article will discuss hepatitis B virus associated glomerulonephritis from four parts:research bottleneck, experimental research progress, research direction and prospect,in order to provide reference for clinical treatment of hepatitis B virus associated glomerulonephritis.
