Abstract

Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor in women. Traditional Chinese medicine has a uniqueinsight on it and has significant and therapeutic advantages. Professor SHU Peng is skilled in treating cervical cancer with traditional Chinese medicine. She has her unique viewpoints in the etiology and pathogenesis of cervical cancer and believes it's generally caused by vital qi deficiency and pathogenic qi prevailing. The disease is attributed to liver-kidney depletion while damp-heat and stasis poison attack. Professor SHU is experienced in cervical cancer's syndrome differentiation and treatment. Specifically,the outlines of strengthening the body resistance can be summarized as nourishing the liver and benefiting the kidney as a foundation,with nourishing yin and blood and regulating thespleenandstomach. The method of eliminating evil is getting clearing damp-heat as a focus,with resolving turbidity and eliminating asthma in lower jiao. Meanwhile,Professor SHU is good at adding or cutting the classical prescription Dihuang Decoction,with differentiating cold and heat syndrome and balancing the primary and secondary syndrome. Using the combination of all these principles,as well as corresponding the prescription and syndrome,can lead to an excellent curative effect. |
