Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a clinical frequent and common disease in gynecology, which has little pleasant efficacy in Western medicine. There is a high incidence of PCOS with obesity and infertility and so on among women of childbearing age, which has a big influence on their body and mind. Professor XIE Changcai holds on the opinion that the chief pathogenesis of obese polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is based on yang qi deficiency and gasification failure of sanjiao, accompany with phlegm dampness and stagnated blood. The principle that yang forms qi and yin takes shape guides us to use methods of warming yang to activate qi,combining acupuncture and moxibustion,Chinese herbs, suggestions of living nursing to treat the disease. By taking measures both from its root cause and symptoms,we have achieved great efficacy in the short and long terms, which indicates that the method is worth studying and promoting.
