Abstract

In order to effectively cope with the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) epidemicand fully exert the characteristic advantages of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),Tianjin area has established a municipal TCM consultation system.The high transmissibility and pathogenicity of the novel coronavirus also caused difficulties in information acquisition for the four diagnoses of TCM,while strict protective measures were taken.Under special circumstances,the team of experts in consultation at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine innovated the consultation mode,which improved the efficiency of TCM consultation,ensured the quality of TCM services,and contributes an important force to the effective control of COVID-19 epidemic with the integration of Chinese and Western medicine. |
