Abstract
|
Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease involving hair follicles and sebaceous glands. It occurs mostly in young men and women. The clinical manifestations are pleomorphic skin lesions such as acne, papules, pustules, cysts, and nodules, scattered symmetrically on the face, chest and back. This article mainly introduces Professor MA Xiaobei's experience in treating acne vulgaris. She believes that factors such as wind-heat,phlegm-dampness,stagnation of qi,and yin deficiency, make the body's qi dysfunction as the fundamental pathology. The treatment focuses on regulating the qi's patency. Recipe with Shengjiang San addition and subtraction achieved good curative effect. |
