Abstract
|
Wilson disease is an autosomal recessive disorder of copper transport. Liver disease and nervous system symptoms are the most common clinical manifestations, and it is one of the few genetic diseases with effective treatment. At present, the metal complexing agent represented by penicillamine (PCA) has some limitations in clinical application, which limits its applicable population and therapeutic effect. On the basis of Western medicine's understanding of Wilson disease, combined with Professor WANG Xinlu's theory of blood turbidity, the etiology and pathogenesis of Wilson disease can be attributed to congenital deficiency, deficiency of liver and kidney, cohesion of copper and toxin, and blood turbidity caused by brewing. According to the theory of blood turbidity, clearing blood turbidity might be a new method to treat Wilson disease. |
