| Abstract

| [Objective] To study the relationship between the changes of tongue coating and the course and condition of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19).[Methods] The changes of tongue picture in 103 male patients with COVID-19 were observed and recorded,and the relationship between tongue picture and age,course and condition was analyzed.[Results] Most of the patients showed fat tongue (61.17%),and no thin tongue was found. There was no significant change in tongue shape on admission and discharge. The main symptom of this disease is greasy fur. With the increase of age,the proportion of greasy fur also increased. The longer the onset time,the higher the proportion of greasy fur,and the longer the hospitalization time,the higher the proportion of greasy fur. The more obvious greasy moss,the longer the course of disease and the worse prognosis.[Conclusion] The observation of the change of tongue picture in patients with COVID-19 is consistent with the progress of the disease,and can be used as a simple index to judge the recovery,and has certain significance for guiding the treatment of Chinese medicine. |
