Abstract
|
The method of taking traditional Chinese medicine is critical point in the clinical efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine. The daily frequency is one of its main contents, which is directly related to the clinical results. The ancient medical classics recorded the frequency of taking medicines in great detail,it varies in different situations, which reflects the typical flexibility of traditional Chinese medicine. However,it becomes the stereotyped way nowadays that most modern clinical Chinese medicine decoctions are taken one dose a day,and divided into two or three times. In addition, there are still few modern evidence-base results or pharmacological experiments on the rationality of daily frequency of decoctions. This article will summarize the frequency of taking traditional Chinese medicines recorded in classic medical books and the rationality of modern scientific research results,in order to facilitate clinical prescriptions and further scientific researches. |
