| Abstract

| Damp-heat syndrome is a common syndrome in many chronic diseases, especially in cancer patients. We collected and sorted out all the diseases and syndrome types from the textbooks or guides. The statistical results showed that 82.4%~100% of the diseases of damp-heat syndrome element appeared in the textbooks or guidelines. We made a summary based on combination with the distribution of tumor syndrome types in the journal literature. According to the classification of the above diseases, the majority of damp-heat syndromes are digestive system tumor and urogenital system tumor. The high frequency of damp-heat syndrome in tumor patients suggests that damp-heat syndrome plays an important role in the pathogenesis of tumor. Therefore, it is very important to make the research on the pathogenesis evolution of tumor damp-heat syndrome. The research on the essence of syndrome is very important to solve the practical clinical problems. It reveals the important scientific proposition of "treating different diseases with the same treatment" and provides the possibility of high-level evidence-based evidence for the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine. |
