Abstract
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture with fibrous fire needle focus of tendon combined with conventional acupuncture in the treatment of patients with periarthritis of shoulder in the painful period. [Methods] The 64 patients with periarthritis of shoulder in painful period were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional acupuncture, and the treatment group was treated with conventional acupuncture combined fibrous fire filigree needle acupuncture on the focus of tendon. The treatment course of both groups was 14 d. To observe and compare the level changes of McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ) Scale, Constant-Murley Scale, and Concise Health Status Form (SF-36) scores, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and interleukins-6(IL-6) before and after treatment, and evaluate the clinical efficacy betweentwo groups. [Results] The scores of the SF-MPQ scale after treatment in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). The scores of Constant-Murley scale and SF-36 scale were significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05). The levels of TNF-α and IL-6 were significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.05). The improvement of SF-MPQ scale, Constant-Murley scale, SF-36 scale score and TNF-α and IL-6 levels in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group. The total clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 93.75%, which was significantly higher than the one of the control group 75.00%(P<0.05). [Conclusion] On the basis of conventional acupuncture, acupuncture with fibrous fire needle to treat scapular periarthritis of shoulder can effectively reduce pain, improve joint mobility, improve the quality of life of patients, reduce inflammatory indicators, and improve clinical efficacy.
